MSU Health & Dental Plan
If you’re a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in 18+more academic units across the Fall and Winter terms, you’re automatically enrolled in the MSU Health & Dental Plan.

New for the 2026–2027 Plan Year
We’re excited to announce that GreenShield is now the MSU Health & Dental insurance provider!
Starting September 1, 2026*, all new claims for eligible services should be submitted through GreenShield using the GreenShield+ app or online portal.
*Please note: Each September there is a temporary blackout period while enrolments and opt-outs are processed. From September 1 until approximately mid-October claims cannot be submitted, new students cannot register for their GreenShield account, so please save all receipts—you’ll be able to submit eligible claims once the blackout period has ended.
Have coverage from 2025–2026?
If you received services during the 2025–2026 policy year (before September 1, 2026), you can continue to submit those claims through ClaimSecure. Claims must be submitted within 6 months of the service date or by November 30, 2026, whichever comes first.
