McMaster Students Union

General Assembly

The MSU General Assembly is the constitutionally mandated annual meeting of all full-time undergraduate students (18 or more units), wherein any student may submit a motion for discussion or debate and speak for – or against – any issue. The GA serves as an opportunity to participate in the decision-making process of the MSU and have an opportunity to direct the organizations actions. Additionally, it is a place where the business of students is brought before an open and public session, where individuals can have any business addressed and even have binding motions passed on the union.

General Assembly will take place at Burridge Gym on Wednesday March 29, 2023 from 3:00-6:00pm. The doors to GA open will open at 2:30pm. Please note: you must register by 5:00pm on Monday March 27 in order to attend GA.

The registration form and motion submission window are now closed. The agenda has been posted below.
