Clubs Department

The MSU Clubs Department is home to over 250 ratified clubs. Club divisions include Academic, Cultural, Recreational, Religious/Spiritual, and Social Issues. With so many clubs to choose from, there is something for everyone!

ClubSpace is home to the Clubs Department. ClubSpace is located in MUSC Rm 215 and is open daily from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. With open-concept seating and 10 private collaboration spaces, it is the perfect spot for clubs to gather, hold meetings, and more.

What resources are available in ClubSpace? 

ClubSpace has a general open-concept lounge with couches, tables, and chairs making it the perfect spot to study or meet with club members. If you’re looking for more privacy, there are 10 collaboration spaces that can be booked on a first-come first-served basis.

When is ClubSpace open? 

ClubSpace is open daily from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

How do I book a collaboration space?

To book a collaboration space, you can scan the QR code outside of the corresponding room.

Who can book a collaboration space?

Collaboration spaces may only be booked and used by ratified MSU Clubs.

How do I apply to be a ratified MSU Club? 

New club applications open annually from November 1st – December 1st and will be announced on the @msuclubs Instagram page.

How do I join an MSU Club?

If you’re interested in joining an MSU Club, you can email the club directly. To see what clubs are available and find contact information., you can visit the Clubs Directory.

Does the Clubs Administrator have office hours?

The Clubs Administrator’s office is located in Rm 215N (inside ClubSpace). Clubs are welcome to drop-in if the door is open, otherwise please email clubsadmin@msu.mcmaster.ca to schedule an appointment.

Are food & beverages allowed in ClubSpace?

Food & beverages are allowed in ClubSpace for individual consumption. External catering and bake sales are not permitted in ClubSpace.

How do I access the lockers?

Lockers are available for ratified MSU Clubs, free of charge, on a first-come first-served basis. If you are interested in reserving a locker, please email clubsasst@msu.mcmaster.ca with your request.

How do I access the mailboxes in ClubSpace?

Mailboxes are automatically assigned to ratified MSU Clubs. If you have any questions or concerns regarding mailboxes, please email clubsasst@msu.mcmaster.ca.
