The McMaster Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Nursing Society (MPSCNS) aims to educate the McMaster student community about new technologies and practices in the field of plastic surgery and cosmetic nursing. Through promotion of awareness and education, the MPSCNS can help members of the community to understand that plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures can be used functionally to promote self-confidence, autonomy, and medical assistance (ex. Botox for hyperhidrosis). In this way, this club can help change the negative societal perception of plastic surgery and create a new perspective of what plastic surgery entails.
