About the Council
The Clubs Advisory Council (CAC) represents MSU members and acts as an advisory body to the MSU Clubs Administrator on matters such as ratification, disbandment, and policy changes. The CAC is comprised of five (5) SRA members and five (5) MSU members; each member is assigned to be a Divisional Chair.
The CAC term begins annually on May 1st and concludes on April 30th. CAC meetings are held biweekly on Sundays from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., in alignment with the SRA meeting schedule.
CAC members are responsible for supporting the divisions that they represent by responding to email inquiries and holding office hours throughout the year. Divisional Chairs will provide the Clubs Administrator with feedback, on behalf of the Clubs that they represent, to help improve operations. CAC members may also represent the Clubs Department at events like ClubsFest, Clubs Training, and the Clubs Social & Awards Night.

Joining the Council
Seats on the CAC are elected by the Student Representative Assembly (SRA) and are typically filled each Spring. By-elections to fill vacancies on the Council shall be conducted in accordance with established MSU procedures.
